Features
- Choose your paddle size by your skill not your hand size. Most beginner swimmers should use the XS or S. Most triathletes use size M or L.
- S #1: each paddle measures 8" wide x 8½" long. For ages 9-13; high school stroke swimmers; beginning female masters and young synchronized swimmers.
- M #2: each paddle measures8½" wide x 9¼" long. Triathletes and good swimmers.
- L #3: each paddle measures 9" wide x 9¼" long. Strong Swimmers.
- XL #4: each paddle measures 9½" wide x 10" long. Young competitive men, Very strong women.
- XXL #5: each paddle measures 10¼" wide x 11" long. For Strongest swimmers.
- The paddles improve your stroke in the following ways:
- They increase distance per stroke by inhibiting early recovery.
- They strengthen swimming specific muscles as well as muscles used in water propulsion.
- The holes and flexible design of the paddles improve the swimmer's feel for the water.
- The paddles exaggerate to the swimmer both correct and incorrect movements.
- Strokemakers can be used in all four competitive strokes for drills, pulling sets, and sprint-asisted swimming. Swimmers may want to consider dropping down one or two sizes during taper and at the beginning of seasons. The paddles are also useful for synchro swimmers, water aerobics and some medical rehab due to their ability to increase strength and sculling skills.
