Works well for hydration but the is no easy way to bring gear with you (can't put inside the inflatable part like most swim buddies). Bladder fit and tube access is a bit awkward but it works. Also lid for bladder is very hard to get on after filling bladder. I now fill only half way and siphon in the rest.

I bought this for the long swims I do to help carry water, food and a phone. Fits all of those things very well. Doesn’t tip. I can also hang onto it better than the other floats I have and eat, take pictures, etc.
I would give five stars except that I winder about the durability of the outer plastic and the water bladder will take a bit to get the plastic taste out. The bite valve is slow to let out water.

Inflates in 10 seconds max. Very visible and doesn't feel like you are dragging.
